Data backups...

Just a note and a reminder for everyone... Make backups of your work, it's very stresfull to lose all or most of your work cause of HD crash... We all hope it will never happen, but it's too late when it does

How to bacup MySQL if I don't have access to cPanel and PHPMyAdmin ?

On paid hosting you always MUST have access to cpanel (if they don't offer that in package go to other place)... And most of free hosts don't allow php and cgi for your sites so you can't use databases with them

No, i think he asked is there any good php script for databas backups... I don't know, maybe you could ask Matt from Revshare hosting if site is hosted with them, probably he'll be able to help ya

I guess because that way he's 100% sure he will not loose his data if anything happens to server...

But i never do backup of MySQL. If i have a board i make board backup, for link list i make general backup and i don't need cpanel for that...

yes, forum and link list scripts have both admin panels where from you can make backups, but loop asked how to make backup of DB if you don't have anything to do it
