Well, I have other policy, I never submitt my sites to SE. Their job is to find your site After link exchange with sites who are already crawled with SE bots, my site is on SE after few days. If you submit manualy, for example you need to wait from 2 to 6 weeks to be listed on Google. This is much faster
That is how i do it

Yeah this is true, but what if you're newbie and no one wants to link to you But that's very rare... Other thing is that on some smaller SEs you have to submit because their spiders can't find you other way... But those won't get send you much traffic

ok here's little more

Emilex said that it's better way to get indexed by SE spiders to have your link on already indexed site because spiders visit all sites in SE database from time to time and it will index your site too that way... It's faster way but you have to find someone who will link to your site

That's the point... I just said that it's problem if someone is newbie and don't have someone to add his link to already indexed site... And that there are hundreds of small SEs that are not good as the largest SEs in indexing web pages and for them you have to submit so they can send their spiders to index your pages and add them to their database or wherever they store indexed sites data
