How to Filter Traffic

Few days ago i mentioned traffic filtering when i was writing my Hub Sites Tutorial, and today i will explain what traffic filtering is

First of all here are some resons why you want to filter traffic:
1. It will increase it's quality and will increase your chances of making sales
2. You can profit from foreign surfers

So here's texample - You have a site with lots of traffic you're getting from many gallery and free site submits, from toplists, hard link trades etc... It's all mixed traffic since you're submitting in several niches plus you're getting general (no niche specific) traffic from trades and toplists.

What you can do is to filter that traffic and to offer every surfer something he's interested into. So you'll make a simple table with big font links in it and every link will lead surfer to new page on your site - to niche specific page.
Let's say you add Fetish, Lesbian, Mature, Gay, Hardcore, Softcore, Teen etc links into your table. Surfer Joe will see it when he hits your site and will click on link he's interested into. That way you have more chances to make a sale because he will get only let's say Teen links and offers and will not have to spend time looking and reading text descriptions of links at your sidex to find something he likes...
This way, when he get's to Teens page and get teen links there you gained his trust. Not big trust, he won't lend you 100 000 bucks lol, but he will be more willing to buy something, every single plus is important when you're trying to sell something
What you can do also is to filter Teen traffic even further by making the same table you made on index page but this one will have let's say "Teens with Toys, Teens Lesbians, Teen Hardcore, Teen Virgins, etc etc..." - this way you will filter your traffic even more and the more you manage to filter traffic the more chances you have to get a sale.


That's one way of traffic filtering, by niche, here's another one: By country...

For this you'll need some script, i have found one simple javascript that's not perfect but will do the job...

Now we can filter surfers by country they live in, so we can send them to pages translated to their foreign language. And on these pages you can offer them paysites where you can make money - for example you can offer passwordbyphone paysites to the surfers from countries with surfers that are not using credit cards. Or you can simply redirect those non-paying surfers at some site where you are trading traffic (like toplists or tgp sites) or you can send them to pages or sites where you earn money with pay per click or even something else, the choise is all yours.
