Default Ifriends and AFF

I am just getting started and I was wondering which program would be the easiest using these 2 affiliate programs. Any other good recommendations would be appreciated or advice.

I also have some original content I want to use and was wondering about disclaimers etc...

Also wondering about when people send me content and I cannot physically get copies of their ID and such, is there a web form I can use instead to give me rights etc...?

ONE MORE, Can someone do all this for me LOL
Thanks,
Jon

Default What The FUCK!!!!

I'm going to give you a little heads up before you end up being issued a C&D but I work for Flesh Merchant (Please Register or Login to view links) and I am nearly 100% certain that if you launch your site using the domain "FleshMerchants.Com" that action will be taken against you.

What are you talking about? I just did a search for flesh merchant on yahoo and I got page after page of different movies that have been called "Flesh Merchant" starting from 1956 and 1993 and they are non adult related or related to the website you posted and then there is a band called "Flesh Merchants" and then as I now see there is an adult video place called "Flesh Merchant" and on and on. And a book called "Flesh Merchant". So why do you say that? I registered "www.fleshmerchants.com".

I have done nothing wrong.

Default We're talking about you getting sued...

CyberNet Digital owns and operates Flesh Merchant and the domain FleshMerchant.Com. Odds are more than likely that if you continue to use the name "Flesh Merchant" in your postings and attempt to launch a site using the domain "FleshMerchants.Com" that they will have their attorneys issue a "Cease & Desist" order (C & D) to stop you from doing so. CyberNet Digital has been in business for 17 years and they are based in Texas which is where according to your posts you claim to be from. I work in the marketing department and not in legal but this has already been reported to the company and I will expect that on Tuesday, after the holiday, that they will look to do something about this....

What you have done is very much the same as if you launched a site/company called "HustlerS", "PlayboyS", or "VividS" and I pretty certain they will not be pleased about what you have done. The fact that you are supposedly from Texas as well makes the issue even worse as it would definitely seem like you would be profiting from the name and reputation of the real Flesh Merchant along with the fact of you being within the same state makes you easy to initiate litigation against.

For your own best interest it would be wise for you to stop using the name and domain at this point without going thru the legal issues which will more than likely stop your site/company in its tracks before it even launches.

So does anyone who is looking at this have an opinion?

BTW, other than the adult links I had already developed a site and decided against using the adult content I have because it seems too much trouble. What I did develop I guess we will see what happens with this.

BTW, there is a Hustlers.com and a vivids.com, Playboy had the foresight to register "playboys.com" w/o just assuming because they have playboy that any variation of belongs to them w/o having to put any effort or expense from them.

I am not trying by any means to cause problems but I definitely do not believe I have done anything wrong.

The domain HustlerS.com does not go to an adult site which people make confuse with the site owned and operated by Hustler. The domain VividS.com also does not lead to an adult site which people may confuse with Vivid video. You don't find an adult site at PlayboyS.com either.

If you launch an adult oriented site using the domain FleshMerchantS.com then I can assure you that they will take action to have the site taken down. Not only that but I would think moving forward with the site even though you have been advised not to do so will not make you any friends in the webmaster world.

Companies, and individual webmasters, who work hard to promote their companies do not look kindly upon such behavior and many view it as you in essence stealing from them by capitalizing on a name/brand that they have created.

As an employee of CyberNet Digital I was of course obligated to forward this information to the owners and I'm pretty certain come Tuesday when they return to work they will be looking to do something about this. They may be nice people but I don't think they being nice will be anywhere on the agenda when it comes to protecting their company name.

Any lawyer or judge will tell you that "ignorance is not a defense" which means that just because you don't "think" you're doing something wrong doesn't mean that you aren't and it does not protect you from litigation or other action which may be taken against you.

Before you move forward with this site you may want to do a little looking into who owns CyberNet Digital/Flesh Merchant.....
