I am not sure if i can get any answers from here , but I need to get info some how. Or even a point in the right direction. I work as female talent in the adult video and website industry. I have heard that I can get incorperated for tax perposes as well as a company name to go under. The problem is I dont know where to start. I know a little about the process The only thing that is confussing is the fact that its the adult indusrty and i am not sure how to go about that. I also live in Florida but do most work in Cali. Does this mean I inc in Cali or Florida/ Any help web adresses that may help will be greatly appreacheated. thanks so much. Alanna

You can incorporate a modeling agency or content provider type business and then as you take jobs you are just contracting out the job to yourself just like a plumber or construction contractor. You would have to do taxes twice. Your business tax and your personal income taxes but it would give you more opportunity for write offs. You can get incorporated by just going through your local yellow pages and look up incorporation attorneys. I would think you could get incorporated for less than $1000 depending on where you are and cost of living there.
