Why affiliates?

Hi! I am new here and I would like to tell you my "story" ... I have got porn blog with about 6k visits a day. And because I have got only 2 companies on my pages so I decided to find something else... So I wrote adult webmaster forum in Google and I found a lot of forums of this tipe... I started to search in forums and I was quite shocked ... Every forum is engaged by afilliate programs... I didn't find what I had wanted... I searched for some companies which pays for impressions or clicks... And I found only realy little mentions about this companies in theese forums... So why is affiliates so popular?? Why you don't speak about advertisment which pays for impression or clicks?? In our country is most popular to have blog and TGP and have theese advertisments on it.... Because in my opinion affiliate is very hard and earns less... Because it is very hard to find someone who buys something through your banner... I have got few friends who has got pages with realy big trafic (f.e. 100k a day) and they also earns on CPM or CPC and no on affiliates, because only a few people buys something through them... And in the end I would like to say something from my experiance... I have got blog (I don't know if I can write here an adress... if it is allowed) with 6k people a day... From my advertisments (they pays for impressions) I have got about 10$ per day... But if have got affiliates there I am totaly sure that I would have nothing from it....

So my question is: Why affiliates are so popular on theese forums??

welcome aboard

people are not using PPC programs because there are very few of them that are good and honest at the same time... also most of adult webmasters manage to make sales with affiliate programs and earn much better money then they could if they used PPC.

if you have blog in english with so much visits a day and if it's any good i think you could make sales with affiliate programs very easily because blog traffic is of good quality. give us blog url so we can check it out, ok?

but why you don't use CPM... programs which pay for impression??? f.e avnads...

well as far as i can see this blog is only trading traffic, there's no real content on it... you need to build surfers trust so they will buy something from your offers, by circle jerking them around (with your trading partners) won't help you to make money.
Per impression ads are not working for me since i have good quality of traffic and it would be waste for me to send surfers for 1-2 cents if i can make sales worth of few tens of dollars

maybe you could try to combine PPC and PPS (Pay Per Signup)... But start adding some content to posts, don't send every surfer who clicks on picture to other site. Add PPC to make money out of non-paying surfers and PPS for those who trust you and want to buy membership at some good paysite...
