CHINA – In a move to further thwart the distribution of Internet pornography, 11 Chinese networks have banded together to create a unified filtering system.
The coalition, which is led by China Netcom — a company that owns 80 percent of the network access in Beijing — will share both money and information regarding the URLs of banned sites. According to ChinaTechNews.com, the 11 companies include Beijing Mobile, Fiberlink Communications and Great Wall Broadband Network Service, among others.

The move by Internet industry leaders follows on the heels of a Chinese government decision to opt out of ICANN. The government also made its commitment to stamping out pornography clear, when it banned pornographic SMS messages earlier this year. With an alternate Internet in place and network established for banning restricted material, China’s 110 million Internet users are one further step removed from the rest of the online world.

Well who knows...but I really hate those conservative people. I mean, it's one thing to control some illegal shit and stuff like that...like child pornography ... but to put the whole adult industry in some kind of on line gheto is rediculous. Not to mention that crap about (not) allowing sex education. WTF?

i agree that child pornography, rape, beastiality etc. should be banned, but i dont think it should happened to complete adult porn idustry.
Also dont think that USA will approve banning of adult internet pornography, im totaly new in this, and still learning, but one thing we all know(in or out of this job) is that the adult industry is long time good working mechanism, which brings money too all sides...
But like i sad, im completely new in this and maybe i am making a mistake.....

no your not making a mistake... Is a good thing adult still alive since 1991 I think. Since I first saw it... im kinda shy browsing porno. When I saw 1 site built with flash... thats when I surf porno's... I like their presentations... Thats where I began to love browsing it... but not thinking that you can make tons of money of it. Damn I miss the opportunity. But it knocks to me again. Good think Im not late.

hahahahhaha yup I learned internet late 1995 and first introduced in our country 1994. I am surfing internet 1995. I remember I only browse Please Register or Login to view links. Do chatting and stuff, then MIRC,Telnet, BBS. In 1996 I began exploring the internet using Please Register or Login to view links that is were I saw the interactive flash site of a porn... and Im so amazed.
