How many affiliate programs are you with?

How many affiliate programs is everyone a member of?
I am new to the game but have already signed up to 6 affiliate programs. I want to keep it to a little as possible but could easily see myself getting out of control.

Also who pays the best in your experience?

i am registered with more then 50 programs but i'm promoting 5-10 actively and they are working ok for me

I only really push about 4 sponsors, but I am with over 50 and the majority of them are on a blog or site somewhere, so I do well with most.

as said before already.. if you try to work with too much sponsors you won`t make good money or even reach all the payout limits (depens on you und your traffic of course

). but don`t stay with just 1 sponsor either.. if he falls you`ll fall too

I only promote about 5 that I find work. However every other month or so I do some homework and find one that I think might be nice and I try it out. Somtimes it works out however I usually find my way back tot the old favorites.
