About an hour ago i have spoken to a friend of mine over icq and was explaining to him what's hub site. So i've decided to write tutorial for all of you about Hub website
Here we go...
First of all what's a Hub site?
- Hub site is website with one and only purpose - to have everything you ever build on it and to help all your other sites and pages get spidered by search engines.
Hub website can have only one page or can be mutli-paged site. It's better to have many pages, but if you're fresh newbie or lazy one page is good to start and you can expand it later.
On this site of yours you will add links to everything you have ever made: links to other domains of yours, links to all your galleries and free sites (use clean index pages, with no recips for this), to your SEO-ed pages, to your blogs, toplists, and everything else you have put online.
It's good to make your hub splitted in categories. At your index page make selection box, or menu with all niches you can think of. So when surfer come to your site he will have a choise and will go to niche he's interested into
It's also called traffic filtering, but i won't speak about that here... Back to that surfer... So he clicked at let's say Lesbian category. Here, on that main page of lesbian category you want to add everything you have that fits into general lesbian. So if he likes something he can go there... But if he doesn't like anything there you have to give him something more - offer him even more specific categories (like lesbian teens, lesbian matures, lesbian orgy, interracial lesbians, lesbians with toys etc etc) and on every page you will offer him what you got in that micro category.
Of course you will add links to paysites all over your hub cause you are trying to make some money after all (especially nats coded links that are search engine friendly)... Write some nice descriptions for every link you add to your hub site, just like you're doing for sites when you're submitting them. Search engines love text and hopefully you will get some SE traffic to your hub this way. Other than SE traffic you will drive as much traffic as possible to your hub because it will be your ultimate selling website in future. With so many options and categories on your hub you will be able to give every surfer what he wanted to see and he will probably pay for that.
Making a hub is not easy, this site will be HUGE and it will keep growing bigger and bigger with every page you build at any f your sites. But it will help you a lot in long term.
How to get traffic to your hub?
- Trade links with other websites
- Submit tgp galleries and free sites with recip to your hub on them
- Submit your hub to toplists, link dumps
- Buy some traffic
- Link to your hub from all domains you have
- Add whatever you want, if it get's you traffic it's good
